Mai 2016, Köln/BonnKöln/Bonn says thank you to all colleagues
An exiting day of strike action @ CGN took place this Wednesday. From Tuesday night, 26. 04. 00:00 to Wednesday 27.04.2016 24:00 ver.di took industrial action for a time frame of 24 hours. The majority of staff of the night shift stopped working. Around 2:30 pm, our colleagues from the fireworkers department also joined the union strike. This led to a total breakdown of the airport.
Furthermore, the colleagues from Köln/Bonn were supported by the union IPA, who represented the pilots at the UPS. The pilotes showed inmediate solidarity and did not move any aircraft for 24 hours. Around 2 pm, 2 IPA pilotes payed the striking ground handling colleagues a visit to show them their solidarity.
